How to Use

• Safety First: Always perform an allergy patch test 48 hours before coloring, even if you have used coloring products in the past.

• Prep Your Hair: Apply to clean, dry, unwashed hair. (Tip: Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly around your hairline and the nape of your neck to prevent skin staining.)

• Mix: Put on the provided coloring gloves, snip the tip of the Cream Color Developer bottle, pour all of the Ammonia-Free Colorant into the developer, recap, and shake vigorously until completely blended.

• Apply & Process: Apply the mixture immediately to your hair section by section, starting where the hair is grayest. Allow the mixture to process on the hair for 25 minutes (or 30 minutes for resistant gray coverage).

• Rinse & Condition: Work the color into a soft lather with a little warm water, rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear, and follow immediately with the Shea Butter After-Color Conditioner, leaving it on for 2 to 15 minutes before a final rinse.

Shelf Life Details

• Unopened Product: Unopened box kits stored in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight remain highly stable for up to 3 years (36 months) from the date of manufacture. Do not refrigerate or freeze the kit.

• Opened / Mixed Product: Once the Ammonia-Free Colorant and Cream Color Developer have been mixed together, the formula must be used immediately. Do not save or store any unused mixture, as the chemical reaction will cause pressure to build up, which can cause the container to burst. Discard any remaining mixed product immediately.
